Eugon LT100 Agar

Application: Solid medium used for the detection and enumeration of aerobic mesophilic bacteria, in cosmetic products with and without preservatives according to ISO 21149 standard.

Preparation

Shake the container well to homogenize the powder. Suspend 45.4g of part A in 1 L of distilled water. Mix well.
Add 7 g of PART B solution. Mix well.
Heat with frequent agitation and boil for 1 minute to completely dissolve it completely.
Adjust pH to 7.0 ± 0.2 at 25°C. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.
Cool the medium as slowly as possible and pour it into sterile Petri dishes at a temperature of 45-50 degrees Celsius.

STORAGE:

Store dehydrated medium below 30 °C and prepared medium at 2-8 °C. The best time to use is before the expiration date printed on the product label.
