Preparation
- Shake the Sabouraud Dextrose Agar culture medium well. Dissolve 65 grams of the medium in 1 liter of distilled water and boil until completely dissolved.
- Autoclave at 121 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
- If you want to add Chloramphenicol or any other antibiotic, wait until the medium cools down and reaches a temperature of 45-50 degrees Celsius before adding it to the medium.
STORAGE
The medium powder should be kept tightly closed and stored at temperatures below 30 degrees Celsius, and the medium should be stored at a temperature of 2-8 degrees Celsius. The best time to use is before the expiration date printed on the product label.
