TBC 704

Application: Identification and counting of the total number of bacteria, fungi, and molds present in liquids or on surfaces.

Suitable for various industries such as oil, gas and petrochemicals, aviation, food industries, water and wastewater, pharmaceuticals, and more.

Catalogue Number: AS-704

توضیحات

MicrobCheckTM TBC/YM slides have a rich nutrient agar culture with a specific formulation on one side and a rich, proprietary mold and yeast culture on the other side. Using these slides, counting the total number of aerobic microorganisms as well as the yeast and molds present in a liquid sample or on a surface is easily possible. The specific identifier present in the culture medium of these slides, through a reaction with specific enzymes in the culture medium, produces a color change of colonies from white to red, thus making counting easier.

Kit specifications: The surface examined on each slide is 8 square centimeters.

Expiration date: 6 months after production

Storage condotions: At a temperature of 8-4 degrees Celsius and away from direct sunlight. Prevent slides from freezing.

Test

Liquid sampling: After removing the slide from the sterile Falcon, immerse it into the liquid under investigation. Then remove the slide and gently shake it to remove any excess liquid from the slide surface. After that, return the slide back into the Falcon tube and close the lid tightly.

Surface Sampling: Remove the slide from its sterile Falcon and place it in direct contact with the surface under investigation. The contact between the two surfaces should be in a way that the agar medium of the slide is completely transferred onto the surface being examined to achieve maximum bacterial recovery.

Incubation: If a complete microbial count is required, heat the slide at 35-37°C for 16-24 hours. Also, for the examination of fungi and yeasts, a temperature of 20-25 degrees Celsius and a heating period of 72 hours should be considered. Environmental microorganisms at 25-30 degrees Celsius for 24-48 hours;

Important note: Slides must be autoclaved or incinerated after use. This can also be immersed in a 10% bleach solution for 24 hours.
