Preparation
- Shake the container well to homogenize the powder. Weigh 42 grams of the powder and dissolve it in 1 liter of distilled water.
- Heat it gently until the medium is completely dissolved.
- Autoclave in 121 degree Celsius for 15 minutes.
- Allow it to cool down to a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius and then pour in strile petri disehs.
- After culturing and growing bacteria, to determine the result of the DNase test and halo formation, use Hydrochloric acid (i880090) with concentration of 1 N to cover the surface of the plate.
STORAGE:
Store dehydrated medium below 30 °C and prepared medium at 2-8 °C. The best time to use is before the expiration date printed on the product label.
