Preparation
- Add 5 milliliters of distilled water to the Listeria Selective Supplement vial and mix gently until it dissolves.
- Using a filter to sterilize it.
- Under sterile conditions, add the prepared supplement to 500 milliliters of cooled, sterile Fraser Broth (I23274), a selective enrichment medium for Listeria.
- Mix well and pour into sterile test tubes.
Caution:
- Acriflavine hydrochloride is light sensitive and can become a growth inhibitor for Listeria.
STORAGE:
- Keep away from light.
- -20 degree Celsius.
