Staph/Strep (CNA) Selective Supplement

Preparation

• Add 5 milliliters of distilled water to the selective CNA supplement vial and mix gently until fully dissolved.
• Sterilize the solution using a filter.
• Add the prepared supplement along with 5-7 % sterile defibrinated horse blood to 500 ml of sterile cooled to 50 degree Celsius Columbia Blood Agar (i23046) culture medium and mix well.
• Mix well and pour into sterile Petri dishes.

STORAGE:

• Keep away from light.
• -20 degree Celsius.
