Application: For maintaining and propagating yeasts in molecular microbiology procedures.

Preparation

  • Shake the container well to homogenize the powder. Weigh 50 grams of the powder and dissolve it in 1 liter of distilled water. Mix thoroughly. Solve the medium completely.
  • Adjust pH to 6.5±0.2. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.

STORAGE

Store dehydrated medium below 30 °C and prepared medium at 2-8 °C. The best time to use is before the expiration date printed on the product label.

  • Prepared Appearance: Light to medium amber, clear to very slightly opalescent
